SURVIVING AND THRIVING

From the moment of diagnosis you are a survivor.

You may be in for a fight, but you are a survivor.  A warrior against the beast that has invaded your body and your life.

Regardless of your prognosis, I encourage you to thrive!  Exercise as best you can to strengthen yourself.   Eat well to nourish your body.  Surround yourself with positive, loving people.  Remember to feed your soul through prayer, meditation or quiet time.

Unless your dream is to do a city-to-city heavy metal motorcycle tour….that’s OK too!

Thriving is dancing with life.  Simply surviving is sitting on the sidelines while it passes you by.

Here’s a link to my favorite movie of all time.   It’s a quirky and wonderful story about finding joy in life.  It was Hubby’s and my first date!

Let me know what you think.
